The Caged Classic follows the traditional Thai cut: wide, high-cut and with deep splits. This gives you the maximum leg movement you need for high kicks and knees, and the polyester feels light and airy. Modern, tighter-cut kickboxing shorts fit more like a sports short and often have stretch in the fabric. Those models look sportier and stay in place better during intense combinations, but offer less room for movement during extremely high kicks. What size Caged Muay Thai Shorts Classic should I order?

Use the size chart at the top of the page and measure your waist circumference. Note: the size chart shows your body measurements, not the dimensions of the short itself. Muay Thai shorts traditionally fit wide, but the waistband should fit snugly. If you're between two sizes, choose the smaller size, as the elastic band will stretch and the short shouldn't hang too low during training.

Is this short suitable for competition?

Yes, the Caged Classic is suitable for both training and competition. The model follows the traditional Muay Thai cut with splits on both sides and an elastic waistband, as a true Muay Thai fighter would expect. The 100% polyester material is light, flexible and offers the freedom of movement you need for technical kicks and knees in the ring.

Can I wash this short in the washing machine?

No, this short should only be hand washed. Machine washing can damage the polyester fabric and the Caged logo. Wash the short after every training session with cold or lukewarm water and mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and air dry. This keeps the fabric supple and the colours and logo last longer.

What's the difference between a Muay Thai short and an MMA short?

Muay Thai shorts like this Caged Classic are wide, have high splits on the sides and a short leg for maximum leg movement during kicks and knees. MMA shorts are longer, tighter and often have a split on the side or back, because in MMA you also do ground work and need more resistance. Ordering from outside the EU

Ordering from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway or another country outside the EU? In the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United States, our prices exclude VAT. We do not charge the destination country's VAT or any import duties at checkout: the carrier will charge them to you on delivery, possibly together with clearance fees. Customs clearance can take a few extra days.

Tracking

As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking link. You can use it to follow your shipment and see the expected delivery day. Nothing received? Please check your spam folder too. If there is still nothing in your inbox after the shipping confirmation, email us your order number.

Partial deliveries

If your order contains products with different delivery times, we may ship it in parts. You will then receive separate tracking for each shipment. You only pay the shipping costs once.

In the Netherlands and Belgium from an order value of €100. In Denmark from 500 kr, in Sweden from 1,000 kr, in Poland from 300 zł, in the Czech Republic from 2,500 Kč, in Romania from 500 lei and in the United Kingdom from £75. In Germany, the other EU countries and Norway from €150. Collection in Groningen is always free. Shipping to Switzerland and countries outside Europe is not free. Punch bags and puzzle mats are excluded from free shipping.

Can I choose the carrier myself?

In the Netherlands and Belgium, you choose between PostNL and GLS at checkout. In Belgium, you can also have your order delivered to a PostNL pick-up point. We ship to the other European countries with GLS, and to the United Kingdom and countries outside Europe usually with FedEx.

What is insured premium home delivery?

What if my parcel is delayed?

First check the tracking; sometimes a shipment is delivered later in the day or on the next working day. If the status does not change, email us your order number. We will contact the carrier straight away.

I entered the wrong address, what now?

Email us as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address. As long as the order has not been shipped yet, we will change it. If the shipment is already on its way, we will try to have it changed via the carrier.

How do returns work?

You have 30 days from delivery to register your return (60 days with Gold, 90 days with Platinum). Everything about returns, the costs and the returns portal can be found on our returns page.
